Street Sweeping
Street sweeping will be on Tuesday, May 21st and Wednesday, May 22nd.

Community Day
Mahanoy City Community Day will be held on Saturday, September 14th from 11am to 3pm.
We will once again have train rides from the Borough.

Trash Update
Beginning February 1st, Anthracite Waste will be collecting resident trash in Mahanoy city.
A few notes:
1. Recycling will be Tuesdays and Trash will be Thursdays.
2. Cans are optional for trash, You can either use your own can or use bags.
3. Recycling must be in can, either you can use your own or you can get one from Anthracite for a small fee.

BULK ITEMS WILL ONLY BE PICKED UP THE FIRST WEEK OF THE MONTH.
* AS ALWAYS FOR THE SAFETY OF PERSONNEL PLEASE MAKE SURE ANY ASH CANS OR PAILS UTILIZED ARE IN GOOD REPAIR WITH NO SHARP EDGES AND THE BOTTOM OF THE CANS MUST BE INTACT. ANY CAN THAT POSES THE POSSIBILITY OF INJURY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. *
